Review on 🍱 Snapware Total Solution Glass Food Storage Set: 24-Piece Meal Prep Kit with Leak-Proof BPA Free Plastic Lids by Andrea Jackson

This is the first review I have ever written. When I have a problem with a product, I usually just get on with my life. But this product is dangerous in my opinion. To be clear, I'm not directing this review at Snapware itself (lids are great). Part of the Pyrex product is the problem. Tonight I put chopped chicken in one of the round containers and it exploded in about a minute. I cooked the chicken in a slow cooker, sliced it, and let it cool for a few minutes while it soaked up the barbecue sauce. It was warm but cool enough to eat straight out of the pot (about the temperature you served it at). The Pyrex container was room temperature and dry, as was the counter. Luckily I was on the other side of the kitchen looking away when it exploded. Most of the glass stayed in place, but in some places tiny shards flew several feet in all directions. I had tiny pieces of glass on the counter and on the floor. I also had a few cabinets open so now I have to clean everything inside so I don't risk swallowing the glass. It was an absolute mess. I've just cleaned as much as I have time tonight and now I have to go to the grocery store around 10pm. Please look at the photos I posted. I didn't expect that from Pyrex. I will look for another option with better glass.
