Beautiful high quality stools at an amazing price. The legs of the stool are made from solid wood, with a smooth satin finish in a pleasing pecan colour. The seats rotate easily but with enough force not to move accidentally. The seats are quite comfortable and upholstered in a neutral linen fabric in oatmeal. The trusses are best fitted with a screwdriver as the screws do not have pre-drilled holes. This is the only additional tool you will need. Although I had issues with two of the stools I ordered (one came broken and the other was defective), the US customer service was excellent. They were easy to contact on the phone, quickly replaced the stools, called me to make sure the replacement was in good condition and sent me a box of Godiva Ice Chocolates as an apology. I was incredibly impressed! I would happily order Nathan James products again and again!
