This power head works well in most cases. It has high suction power on low pile carpets and is easy to maneuver when the pile is low. However, it easily gets stuck and twists easily on medium to deep pile carpets and can be extremely difficult to push if the carpet is too high. It is too strong to be used on carpet or rugs that are not weighed down by furniture. It also clogs easily. I have to disassemble it and clean all the gears and the rod AT LEAST once a week to keep the rod spinning. The gear case fills up with dirt and hair fairly easily, and cleaning it is time-consuming and tedious.
