I bought six strings to hang outside on a large tree. All worked initially, but after 4 hours one string would not light up 1/3 the far end from the connector. A few days later the same thing happened to another. All went well for another two weeks when the other string stopped working this time about 1/3 from the end closest to the plug. A whole string fell out one night and I noticed that one of the wires was broken, I soldered it and put heat shrink tubing on it and it lasted the rest of the season. In terms of ease of use, they're really easy to put on. and they look very good, probably the best I've ever seen. Overall, 4 out of 6 networks went down and then only functioned with a small percentage of the entire network.
