It is soft, flexible and comfortable. The design is well thought out and tailored to the needs of breast cancer fighters. The side panels provide support under the arm or behind the head and protection from seat belt tension. the middle part is just right for stomach and back. It wore out fairly quickly as the side seams came undone but we got a great value and we bought a second one for our daughter's second mastectomy.
