It clicks!: my feedback

I bought this to train our chickens to come on command (click). The chickens come running everytime they see us now, not sure the clicker had anything to do with that, or the fact we often give them treats :-D .

Pros
  • :-)
Cons
  • The clicker may not be loud enough to effectively capture the dog's attention

They click. - my new review

Received two as expected. The button is easy to depress and makes a loud clicking sound. The coil fit is comfortable though it does not "spring back" quickly when stretched. Be mindful of that if you expect to remove it alot when training your dog.The oval shape fits comfortably in the palm of my hand making it easy to use without extra hand motions to get it into position for use. No big deal "here comes the clicker" movements.

Pros
  • Super cheap, great quality, easy to use. No complaints!
Cons
  • The wrist strap may be too long for some people's wrists and require adjustments

Kind of stiff and very loud.

You have to press it pretty hard to make it click and then it's very loud. I'm using it for a cat and it's a little too loud--distracts the cat. It looks the same as all the rest I saw for sale so would expect that they are all kind of loud.

Pros
  • Good product
Cons
  • The clicker may not be user-friendly for individuals with limited technical knowledge

Great learning tool, I love it!

Have had had many pets I've trained many tricks with praise and repetition. The CLICKER is a great tool ( + re enforcement. )A little loud at first. Scaring the cats. I now hold it behind my back, with extra treats in that hand.So happy to finally have this tool. The cats are waiting for me every morning to get busy!

Pros
  • My Boys and I have taught our kittens to sit and to give high fives through clicker training
Cons
  • Good product. Good idea. Couldve made the clicker easier to push.

Cheap but good! Great value!

Used for training kittens - very loud, easy to use. Comes w wrist retention lanyard. Great for the price! The clicker button may be difficult to press for people with arthritis or limited hand mobility!

Pros
  • My dog is hard-headed but this clicker really gets her attention that a treat is coming.
Cons
  • The clicker button may be difficult to press for people with arthritis or limited hand mobility

Great quality best in my review

Really love these. They're the perfect size/shape, the wristband part is extremely convenient and they're standing up to a large amount of use (between two dogs and three cats).

Pros
  • does not work all the time for my dog. She thinks it is a toy
Cons
  • Good

Awesome deal! good for me

Awesome value for the money. I would have paid that amount for ONE but got two for one. Love the fastener, too The clicker may be too bulky to carry in a pocket or purse.

Pros
  • These are great. Remember this is a training tool. Look up tutorials before you start using.
Cons
  • The clicker may be too bulky to carry in a pocket or purse

Dog barked liked crazy over clicker.

This did not work for me, my dog began to bark like crazy every time I used it. If you use it with treats I guess this can happen.

Pros
  • they work good
Cons
  • The clicker may not be durable and break after just a few uses

Great way to start training your puppy!

Great for training your puppy! So far so good. No issues with clicking or anything. I use it everyday to clicker train my puppy!

Pros
  • They click. Nuff said.
Cons
  • The clicker may be too small for people with larger hands

Works well. good for me

Works well, nice to have two. Crisp and firm sound and feel but not so loud it's startling. One of the wrist holds broke a month or so in but it's worth noting that we stretched it on and off a door handle and our wrists often and used it daily for a few months. It was easy to replace with some random leftover Paracord.

Pros
  • Great product for the price
Cons
  • The wrist strap may not be adjustable enough to fit all wrist sizes

I have no voice so it helps a lot

Due to surgery to remove larynx, i have no voice. I am finding this especially helpful in trying to get someone's attention when they are looking or walking the other way. And of course, my dog responded immediately so it serves its stated purpose well also.

Pros
  • Cheap but well worth for training our new puppy.
Cons
  • The red and black color scheme may not be easily distinguishable for color-blind individuals

They do click good for me

But my dog did not respond to commands with this so off to find something else. Cheap enough if you want to try training with yours- and the "bracelet" is handy

Pros
  • My dogs are scared of them. So I click it and they stop barking
Cons
  • The product may not come with clear instructions for proper use

My cat likes it.or maybe it's just the treats

This has worked as I had hoped. Been clicker training my cat and inadvertently trained my dog as well! That's my feedback.

Pros
  • This clicker has a really great sound and for the price is a really great purchase
Cons
  • This is a nice product however it was too loud for my dog. It startled him.

Made well. Not cheap.

I bought these to train a cat to do tricks. What was I thinking? Although that's not the makers fault. These clickers are great. They are made strong and work well. The clicking noise isn't to loud but not to low either. It definitely would get my lazy cats attention.

Pros
  • Great little clicker
Cons
  • The packaging may be difficult to open

Work well and good quality.

Clicking sound is good and loud, but not obnoxious. My dogs have responded well to it. Easy to put around your wrist or clip on my backpack during a hike. They should last for a long time.

Pros
  • Good value
Cons
  • The wrist strap may be made of cheap material and break easily

Very generic clicker

Bought the pair for our dog training class, the sound was so mellow and so different than the one our trainer used that we opted to spend real money and get the same as hers.

Pros
  • easy to use, both clickers work great
Cons
  • The clicker may not work well in noisy environments
