Used this to get from my home office on the second floor to my basement room so I could bring my home lab gear into this room. There is a router/internet in the office but I'm tired of the noise and heat it generates there. 50 feet of cable wasn't enough and 75 was too much. Even though I only use it on a 1Gbps network, I still need a Cat7 cable. Most likely exaggerated. But at least I know I won't have [real] latency between the [Gb] switch that everything is connected to and the one on the router (it's the internal Gb switch). Thanks to the flat cable, it is much easier to start, so there is no risk of tripping. He traverses the ladder (gaffer tape) and then descends the ladder skids and the like. If I had used a more traditional round cable it would have been harder to get out of the way. Now all I have to do is replace the 8" cables that connect everything where the gear is now, along with the 3" I cables. I bought. Actually I have to order more as I need 8 and there are only 6.
