I was a little skeptical, but it works great. Simply insert the cork into the bottle, grasp the bottom ring and twist the cap about a quarter turn to lock it in place. It has some little ball bearings that hold the bottom to the lip of the bottle (no need to plant bottles if you want to use that I guess). I was also curious if it would fire if I let go. That's not a problem - it just whistles a little when the pressure is released. This is an AWESOME opportunity to eat mimosas over the weekend (depending on how many you have!)
