Review on Smart Doggie Doorbell by Pebble - Set of 2 by Karen Lewis

My dog (80 lbs, Humane Specialist) is so scared we are having a hard time getting him inside because he doesn't want to walk past the door it's installed. Also, she kicked off the plastic cover a couple of times when trying to sneak through the doorbell and the plastic latch holding the cover broke. The problem with this seems to be the sound - the doorbell is LOUD even if you turn it all the way down and you're in a different part of the house. She could easily target the doorbell but as soon as we turned the volume on all was lost! I think my dog most likely won't recover from this, but if I were to do it again I would put the audio part of it under a pillow in another room so it's muted and then increase the dog's exposure from there . Again, these are not necessarily problems that everyone will have. If you had a less crazy dog I'm sure the product would work just fine.
