Works great. With the exception of the ringtone, the electronic songs are very long and obnoxious, especially in the small space of the van. I use the doorbell sound, but it's too short when I'm sleeping. There is no middle ground here. A double "ding-dong, ding-dong" on the doorbell or other sound of that length would be great. This is a great system for dogs. My dog (4 1/2 months old) learned it in less than a day. They let you know when they want to get off, but the best part is they can let you know when they want to get on. I like the idea of dog doorbells. I originally had another brand that was touch based, so all my dog had to do was lightly touch the surface and he would make a sound. When we got this it was a new learning curve because my labrador had to learn how to push the button and not just touch it. will do anything to get that little treat, even after you've already rewarded him for pushing.
