Not for every clogged drain

I had an old DrainKing but I can see dry rot on the rubber so I bought a new one to keep the rubber from exploding and further blocking the drain pipe - the drain pipe in the wall is too old to run an aggressive snake for fear of damaging the old pipe (our regular drainer regularly clears our kitchen drain from the roof vent, it won't run a snake down the bathroom drain, warns of further damage) - it was a problematic sink, the drain makes out maybe 1.25 inches so the item fits, but the hose coupling doesn't fit so it can't fit further into the drain pipe (sits right behind the drain plug assembly) - didn't work time (60 years building up and problems over the years, a bad turn about 3 feet into the wall); Unfortunately there is no roof vent for this sink drain - I have used this item successfully on other drains in the past (not in this house) - we refuse to use toxic chemicals, tried all these tips on youtube goggles (even tried a wet/dry vacuum which really helped a bit); At one point with the baking soda/cocacola/vinegar there was a brief moment of success, I heard a loud whistle/popping (in a pipe in the wall) where it sounded like a piece of clog had definitely moved - sadly it has to tripped over the next clog (at a bend/bend in the pipe) and just let the water drain even more slowly. - can't imagine the pulsing going on, best if I have DrainKing at the beginning of my sink drain (doesn't go any further due to hose coupling) because there is a siphon, then turn another 90 degrees into the wall, and another curve about 3 feet further in the wall - not even sure if it's supposed to 'sound', the loud hum is too annoying to keep going as I fear it will all explode (we have super water pressure so never turned on full power, the more so water is turned on, the louder the rumble/vibration) - I tried turning the water on and off to see if "Pulsation" helps there, nothing - I walked for an hour, checked and was, or, ran another hour, no - you can go through the closet in the back of the bathroom, crash into the wall there, then you have to cut the pipe there and try to clean it (future project) It really depends on your drain ss how old it is, how long the problem has existed, how severe the clog has become and if there is a wrong bend/bend in the drainpipe where the clog has existed for a long time. Good luck, this article is always worth trying.
