Review on Dr Scholls Men's Compression Socks 10-12 - Ultimate Support for Active Feet by Bryan Fields

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Virtually no compression

I'm a 6ft 11ft male and weigh about 195 pounds. So I'm not very small, but these socks gave almost no compression. Claiming that they do this is like false advertising. I've been on my feet all day and used other types of compression socks that are actually medical grade compression socks (the kind that give a compression rating in millimeters of mercury, which these don't) and there's a big difference. I used to only have regular Nike socks that were tighter than these and these socks didn't claim to have "compression". The only reason I wanted to try something other than medicine? As I don't like their material, they are very thin so they don't provide cushioning in my shoes. I was looking for a compression stocking that was thicker but still gave good compression, I found Dr. Scholl's, but the more I tried (including shoe inserts) the less I trusted the brand.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I have no real complaints about it, everything is fine
