Rigid pads push through dirt, won't pick it up - doesn't absorb enough

Good idea but lacking in execution. The pads are a bit wide, so they need a bit of tweaking and adjustment before they close properly - not a big deal, but the manufacturer should think about a fix. Once correctly inserted and locked, it cleans along the molding in window sills, sliding doors, etc. But to be honest, a damp paper towel works faster for me, and I can also dry the molding immediately. If instead of scratching two degrees hard there were some soft pads then I think it would work better. The stiffness of the scratch pads absorbs most of the dirt, but some of it just gets through. A more absorbent pad works better here.
