Simple and strong in accessories
I've combined this with a Manfrotto two-piece articulated arm (Manfrotto 196AB-2) to make a macro lighting mount. Articulating Arm Stands are perfect for this mount. So I mount a mount on a post, a Manfrotto quick release plate where the camera should be (so I can mount/remove the camera quickly) and on the other end I mount an LED light. The swing arm is designed so I can focus the light where I want or just fold it in half to save space when traveling. It certainly feels as strong and durable as other Manfrotto products and I look forward to using it for a while!
