These are ideal for a desk chair without armrests and have a closed design where both ends of the armrest are attached to the chair. The zipper allows you to wrap around your arm instead of sliding down either end. It is a thin material with no filler. So I bought a 1/2"/1mm thick yoga mat from Walmart for $6. I cut out the desired width and length for each arm with regular scissors and placed them on the arms. Then they put covers on each chair and closed the zipper.I adjusted the padding and stretched the fabric with the zipper down.Damn if you got the wrong size you can do it again as the yoga mat compared to the small piece you will be using is huge.Now very comfortable for hands and elbows.Exactly what I needed.The fabric used is perfect for the pocket and the zips are well made.
