I bought this kit for HP M404n. I saved 15% when I bought it, so I got two cartridges for $72 (for comparison, when I searched previously I saw individual cartridges for $90 and up), so it was a great bargain. It was neatly packaged with instructions and a chip tray under the cartridges. You can't just remove the old HP cartridge and replace it with this one - you'll need a chip transporter to remove the chip from the old cartridge and move it to the new one, or you'll get an error message (ask me how I know , luckily it only took me a few seconds to spot your error before the cartridge was operational). I saved the transporter (usually: tweezers) for the second cartridge and then printed something with the new one. The print quality was great and it worked like a charm. I am very happy with this product, especially now that I have a spare cartridge for the future!
