Review on Teraflex 1351500 Lift Kit by Joshua Garris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lives up to its name and ad!

I wanted a lift kit but not a LIFT KIT if you get my meaning. Just something to spice it up, but you don't have to deal with the hassle of a full lift kit. Anyway, it's the best thing you can do if you're in the same boat as me. It definitely lifts it, but not too much to cause problems. The ride is also much better. I paired these springs with Rubicon dampers and now the body rolls a lot less in corners. Even me on the highway is not thrown so much by bumps and wind. The instructions say to turn off all this stuff. You don't have to. I was able to escape by simply loosening the stabilizer bar links, dampers and brake line mounts. It's tight, but hey, it saves me from going flat later. And time too. The top photo is before and the bottom photo is after. I have 285/70/R17 with 1.5" spacers on stock rims. Before the alignment kit I rubbed at full rotation and there seemed to be no travel since I upgraded the tires. Now with this lift I'm back to normal I probably wouldn't ride hardcore off-road, but it can definitely handle any easy to moderate trail without hesitation.Consider it the next big step up from stock suspension.I'll update this if I see anything notable.
