Bad Canvas Paper

This is my first time buying canvas paper from this brand. My regular Canvas Bee Paper was sold out. When I opened the pack, I noticed an odd paper feel. I made about three creations on paper. Two colored pencils and an acrylic paint. So you need to touch it many times with a pencil or acrylic paint. The ends curl up a bit as I paint. The paper has a chalky feel and when you apply acrylic paint the paint becomes very chalky as it dries. Also when I sketched on the paper it was so smudged. I had to use a very thin pen. After sketching, I use both acrylic paints and colored pencils. I usually do a thin white fill before I start painting. In this case, the white fill on the paper sketch blurred most of the pencil sketch. In the end, all the corners in every part I created were bent. I am attaching a photo so you can see the result. Since it looked so chalky in this case, I painted over it several times. I am very disappointed in this product and will not buy it again.
