Based on some reviews I was nervous about ordering this product. I have hunting dogs and live near the freeway. It's imperative that no matter what gets them running (rabbits), they stop at the fence line. I put up white flags about every 5 to 8 feet to make it clear where the boundaries are. I live in a hilly area so some of my property goes up and some goes down. If you live in a hilly area (highs and lows of 15 to 30 feet) you will find that this is not an even circle around your home. does it matter? Not for me. I placed the device where I needed the greatest radius (away from the freeway) and it works great. My dogs can walk around my house, but they can't go on the street and can't graze with horses (one of them decided that his favorite game - chasing horses - wasn't good if he wanted to live long) . I had no problems with it, I plugged it in and followed the setup instructions. Easy to set up, collars work well. I bought an extra collar and it connected automatically. The instructions said it would take about two hours to install, which seemed intimidating. In fact it was 30-45 minutes including the facility tour and flag setting. I kept the collar in the alert position and it recognized every time I reached the end of the zone and inserted a flag.
