I actually used them for handmade greeting cards. The design is so unique and colorful and the scales are perfect for using on maps. The pattern appears on one side; The back is solid color (not white) which makes the folded decorations much more interesting (sometimes I use the tea bag folding technique - this paper is PERFECT for that!). The quality is good - it's thinner. Paper that many card makers may be accustomed to because it needs to be "folded" for origami, but makes a great background for an emotive banner or matte focus. I really like that so many of the designs coordinate with each other (there are a number of designs that have a navy blue/navy blue feel to them that go beautifully together). I will get a lot out of this package - solid 5 stars. from me. I like it! UPDATE: June 12th, 2020 - I have just purchased my second pack of this product and I am just as excited now as I was 3 years ago. Very good quality, lots of 'consistent' patterns/colours, ideal for card makers who want something different. Nevertheless, 5 stars guaranteed.
