I write a lot and I like to listen to music while I write. It just works great for that. While not the most comfortable to wear for long periods, external headphones will hurt your ears after a while. I wear glasses so this may also be the reason why they become uncomfortable after wearing them for a long time. Their plus is that the ear pads can be turned outwards. This allows me to continue listening to music even when I take the headphones off my ears. For the price you can't beat them. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them, compared to expensive hundred-dollar headphones. The $10-20 headphones you can buy are almost always dead once they loosen after you buy them. The longest lifetime of cheap headphones is 3 months. Only time will tell how long they last, but they feel solid and the rotating ear cuffs prevent you from breaking them by accidentally dropping or twisting them. Overall I highly recommend them as they work on most devices and can be used as a microphone for gaming and chatting with friends.
