I've just bought a very cheap thermal laminator and these pouches do their job very well. However, I expected them to be the way 3M makes them and they always make products that work well. You have to spend a few minutes putting an item in a pocket and an "extra hand" would be useful, but it works well. The finished product "brightens" the laminated item and provides enough rigidity to protect the item well. I usually use a 3 hole punch so the item can be placed in a binder or neatly pinned to the wall and the material will hold up well. I've sometimes used 2 sheets of paper back to back for a double sided product and that works well too. Please note this is a permanent attachment to the laminated product. Cannot be removed without damaging the item.
