This is a completely new style of shoe for me - an interesting lightweight composite athletic shoe style. The only thing I had to get used to was a pair of socks. is that they don't use a traditional tongue flap but rather an elasticated ankle high sock = wrap style around a leg collar that rises near the ankle bone. It takes some time to get used to the change in sensation, but it's not uncomfortable. Comfortable, but if you have a narrow heel, that upper fabric collar, instead of the traditional tongue lock, can cause the shoe to slip a bit on the heel when wearing thin material socks.
