About this wetsuit only because we did baptisms at the end of the season. Keep in mind that early in the spring season the water was freezing. Well, I hate the cold and I've noticed that divers sometimes stay in the water for long periods of time and in very cold water. So I went to Revain, did a search, compared several different wetsuits and found this one. It's design, suitability and ability to protect me from the cold, along with the very important, all preachers are bad, the price chose me. I was a bit nervous, but 22 people had to be in the water for about an hour, the water was about 65-70 degrees. I've never worn a wetsuit before there was a learning curve and wearing it while zipped in chest deep water in Foley's kept me very warm. In fact, the air temperature was about 70° and I was boiling out of the water. I felt very comfortable in the water. When someone else came out, I stayed in the water for a while. I'd love to talk about the ins and outs of this spider web soup, but I have no idea that for folks who regularly walk in woven suits, which we wetsuits are for, I could tell you I probably won't be wearing these again until next spring , but I take it off before I get to the water. I'm taking it with me the week I'm heading back to the ocean in North Florida at the end of the season in October in October, just in case I'll let you know how it's going.
