I only use them as gifts as they look a bit rustic and go well with brown wrapping paper. Ideal for storing small items or souvenirs. You can also use them around the house to store small items like tea bags, spices or sweets, although they're not meant for anything other than putting them on a shelf. It's not that they're poorly made - it's just that the material is quite loose and will snag when carried around. The only real complaint is the label which makes any gift inside look commercial. I cut it from the pockets I have but it is sewn on and you will have to stretch and sew the seams back together. 2 minute operation but annoying. Otherwise I recommend.
