I fitted them to my son's new off road bike to protect the levers an hour later unfortunately I was just saying to be careful the throttle is now sticking which may come with related or not to these rod-end mounted guards, but the throttle was not stuck before the rod and guards were installed. It crashed and the guards are flipped up, which can damage the levers. They are great for blocking small branches and leaves but are not stable as they protect the front end from bark to protect levers and hands.
