Don't worry if you're using the cheaper Tacoma air conditioner control for your air conditioner. I've tried using cheaper ones and they work but they don't fit and always disconnect after a week or so resulting in a bad connection causing the lights to flicker or dim. They are much more tightly mounted on the circuit board. It's quite a hassle to fully install the plastic case with a slot for a screwdriver instead of removing it. But I installed them and no more problems with loose and flickering bulbs.
