I bought these to tint the windows in a west facing room. The sun even with thick curtains makes this room unbearable so I decided to hang them on the windows. They work great. Reflects the sun and heat and you can see through it. Not what the manufacturer designed them for, but it helped lower the temperature in that room by 20 degrees Fahrenheit, and the central air conditioning didn't have to work as hard.
