Review on 1/2 CuFt High Quality Cation Water Softener Resin Replacement With 100% Ion Exchange by Gilbert Cokky

I live in a city with very hard water (General Hardness (GH) >300ppm), so it’s difficult to keep my water parameters in check. Thankfully I found this stuff. I just put it in a small filter media bag and put it in my filter so water is constantly flowing through this and it works great. On average, it keeps GH around 25ppm. This number has been verified by a simple litmus test as well as an advanced chemical water testing kit, so I’m satisfied with the results.I saw another review with this media in a cup of water with a before/after style review and they didn’t get good results. I’d suggest having circulating water that runs through the media; this should help with reducing the hardness.
