This is a thicker, more durable material and a little larger than I expected. I would have liked a slimmer bag big enough for my phone, but let's face it, a fanny pack isn't the most stylish fashion accessory. Don't wear it on a hot date. This is a great all-round hands-free unisex case. I'll take them for walks in the park with my phone and/or a bottle of water nearby. Depending on your size, you can clip it either at the waist or over the shoulder on the chest so it sits on the hips or in the middle of the chest. One note: there was a chemical smell literally from a few feet away, like a toxic bad smell, you'll notice. I soaked it in Tide detergent and hot water, rinsed, repeated, hand washed briefly, then tossed it in a protective mesh laundry bag with the comforter in the washing machine. You can still smell the chemicals, but it's much milder and more tolerable. It will probably be washed in the washing machine again before I wear it. After washing it looks very durable as it lasts a long time.
