I purchased this mount to install a tusk flag mount on my hang glider. The trike didn't have a suitable place to mount it, so I installed this bracket on the trike frame. In order to mount the catch flag bolt, I had to drill through the cargo bay a bit more. I used a titanium drill and a 3/8" adjustable speed drill. Aluminum drills well and I was able to enlarge the hole slightly. The finished product was completely unaffected by the drilling. I used the spacer that came with the bracket but found that the mount would rotate when going over rough roads. Following the advice of another reviewer, I cut a piece of old bike inner tube, wrapped it around the bike frame and reinstalled this mount over the bike inner tube piece. My mount didn't move at all! mount works well and looks great!
