***The rating is my opinion and was in no way compensated for the rating**** - Bought the color of the stone, it looks like muted white close to grey and all black, looks very light gray from a distance. - Installation was the easiest I've ever done - took 5 minutes. - The material is very good quality, there is a separate blind attached to the back (see photo), it reminds me of a mid-century curtain fabric, which is what we wanted. - Pretty good at blocking light (4 stars for that) - works for us because it's used for the home office - if you're looking for fully blackout shades, keep looking. - you can see the lines when the shadow is down and it's light outside (see photo) - we didn't care / might bother some. When it's dark outside, you can't see at any time. The plastic handle is difficult to assemble. I used a flathead screwdriver and pry it up just enough to attach it to the center of the lampshade. If you try to pin it on one side, it will snag on the fabric. Overall, I am very satisfied with the look, quality and functionality of the lampshade. . I searched for a shade for 6 months (bought and returned many) until I found this one (I'm very picky) and came across shades that cost 3x the price but still not the same quality. Ordered 34x64" for a 34.5" x 60" window interior mount.
