Review on πŸ”₯ EBC Brakes DP41267R Yellowstuff High-Performance Brake Pads for Street and Track Use by Vincent Poolaw

Doesn't fit right. Even after contacting

-2006 Dodge 3500 CCSB SRW. It should be noted that the pads are marked F250 on receipt and will fit correctly on the calipers. When I received these pads, there was only one set of "piston pads" in the box. This struck me as odd, so I immediately contacted EBC on social media. I was told it was correct based on the information they had. As a skeptic I couldn't imagine a 1 ton truck with a single piston caliper. but I had the same pads from the front brakes which I didn't have. installed, so I decided to proceed with the installation. I was right, the rear wheels are dual piston, which should be obvious. The problem is they don't fit the pistons at all. I even called the EBC and they said they would definitely send me the necessary paperwork that night. I received them the next day but again they don't fit and my time was wasted. My calipers are original and have the Daimler Chrysler logo on them. This is clearly a serious bug by EBC trying to create a single part number for multiple vehicles. (see other reviews with the same problem). Now I have $250 pads of old gear on my truck so I can make the trip. I will not buy again. I don't care if they're better or not, it's not worth the hassle.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • So-so
