Review on Lipper International Acacia Wood 18-Inch Lazy Susan for Effortless Kitchen Rotation by Norman Costello

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Nice wooden table top but bearing set is junk.

I bought this lazy Susan because I liked the 18 inch size. I liked the look and quality of the wood countertop. The whole block slides across the table instead of rotating. The other thing is that even though the table top is 18 inches in diameter, the base that supports it is 8 inches in diameter, which means that if you place anything over a pound near the perimeter of the top , the entire assembly falls over. I disassembled the base at the top and found to my horror that there were 6 ball bearings held by a plastic holder and the ball bearings rotated right onto the underside of the top and the top of the wooden base. The ball bearings both had dented parts of the wood and such the disk could not rotate well. The little ball bearings on the wooden surface are just crazy. The top and bottom were attached with a central screw. I liked the upper so I bought a 16" Lazy Susan Lager from Revain and put it on. It works great now. The fact that Lazy Susan has so many positive reviews makes me think.
