Does absolutely nothing to improve the taste of tap water.
We are replacing a previous GE Smartwarter system that has failed after 12 years. This water filter is a joke, it doesn't seem to do anything to filter the water. The taste of water with and without a filter is the same. Not recommended!

- Questionable purchase for the elderly
