I used this to replace the cheap cone filter that came with the air intake I bought because I noticed that when I accelerated it felt like my car was being held back or restricted. So I settled on a brand that I know and trust that has a great range of cone filters. When I received the product it was very oily so I used a paper towel to wipe it off as I am concerned that the high oil content will clog my MAF. But after installing it, I noticed that my machine can now breathe easier and is more responsive.
