I am very happy with this purchase. First, let me quantify what I saw with this pump during actual testing: 1. I tested the pump at 12V DC and measured 0.4 amp current draw.2. I took 2mm ID plastic tubing and ran it 44 inches to see if the pump would pump that high. It did.3. I measured the flow rate as the pump was pumping water to a height of 44 inches and it was 75 ml per minute or about 2.5 ounces of water per minute. I bought this pump to start a small hydroponic garden for growing a head or two. Lettuce in my office window. It's ideal for when the ride lasts. I don't intend to run the engine all the time, maybe just run it for about 10 minutes an hour and see how it behaves. Will update the review if anything goes wrong.
