VESA certified cable is cost effective.
I've never come across useless, overpriced cables when it comes to home theater, so I was almost ready to buy an unknown brand DP cable for my new ASUS gaming monitor with a max refresh rate of 144Hz to buy. . Then I read some reviews and realized that these cables are rather promising but short-lived. This cable is on the VESA approved list of DP cables that comply with the standards and so far it has met my quality expectations. I will update this review if this changes.
