Review on Engine oil TAKAYAMA SAE, 5W-40, 4l, synthetic [605045] by Micha Borkowski ᠌

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

Oil that is reasonably priced and has organic molybdenum in its formulation (I purchased 4 liters for $1700). It is fascinating to think that this additive can potentially have a variety of forms. There is something called molybdenum desulfide, which oxidizes the oil and can deposit on the engine parts, both of which are very bad things. In addition to this, there is organic molybdenum, which does not provide any of these risks. You need to look at the makeup of the oil, specifically the type of molybdenum that was added by the manufacturer, in order to put an end to all these debates about whether molybdenum is beneficial or not. In practice, though, Takayama 5w30 is already the third replacement for me even though this is just a notion. I estimate that I got somewhere between 25,000 and 30,000 miles out of this oil. During this time, I have realized that I spend less money on gasoline, which is another way of saying that I am using less fuel. Simply said, this is what the manufacturer recommends. The fact that oil is not wasted is, of course, another advantage of using it. And based on the fact that there are no unusual sounds coming from the engine, as well as the fact that it operates as it normally does, Takayama does an excellent job of protecting its components from friction.

Pros
  • An inexpensive oil that contains organic molybdenum in its composition protects its components against friction in an ideal manner.
Cons
  • Have not discovered
