The quality and look of this hat are great, but it is definitely not intended for a practical fit on a large melon like mine. I will say this. it does fit the circumference of my head, barely. But what it lacks is depth. When I pull it on, my head bottoms out in the top of the hat before it gets to the normal fit just above the ears. It feels like it's going to fall off at the first sign of wind or anytime I bend over to tie my shoes.I would say this would fit a L/XL okay. It is NOT a good fit for a XL/XXL head or anyone size +8.
