I have had this product for at least a year now and have about 80% of 365 days. The connection is easy and fast. Short-range communication within a building is ideal. Now, when you shine a light on a city or an entire county, identification becomes difficult. The other person may not always perceive you well. My main reason for rejecting this product is: 1. During the 8-12 hour shift, the east side can get uncomfortable. The fit is not tight and requires constant repositioning.2. The speaking clip rotates without pointing the end of the microphone towards your mouth so you can be heard better.3. Finally and most importantly, the talk button is not always responsive, which is very frustrating for communicating with the dispatcher. Very bad in times of crisis. Those last two points are good reasons why I would recommend finding another product, even if it means a small premium (especially in the law enforcement or similar community). I couldn't find anything suitable for the xpr 3500e. If anyone knows any other headphones with reliable push to talk, please share. Thanks and I hope this helps someone.
