Good chairs, don't tighten anything until fully assembled.
The instructions are not fully explained, the problem with the assembly is that there are two ways to connect the chair frame. along with the chair frame. If it doesn't sit flush, swap the two frames in opposite directions and check the back support again, it should be fine.
