I have had this console sized humidifier for over twenty years. Most were sold by Kenmore and could be filled with water jugs. It's the same size as the Kenmore console, but you have to carry the water jug to the car and carefully pour it out. My first car had an EE code on the panel when I turned it on. The EE code, which isn't in the owner's manual, means "electrical error", apparently because when I called support they told me the top part (with fans, controller, cords and humidistat) was defective and they send a replacement block. We'll see if their new bottleless design is an improvement over the old design. Newer Kenmore parts only lasted two years each, but could this manufacturer be different? Sequel follows .
