Ordered a dinosaur size 10 for my 5 year old (he usually wears a size 8) Shirts barely fit no room to grow and yes I know they fit well. pants for a giant. I doubt my ten year old niece would wear them as they would probably be too big for her. And pulling up the butt is not an option as my son's crotch hangs down to his knees. If I got smaller, the waist would be too tight and the shirts would never fit. In fact, I'd like to go up a shirt size and down about five pant sizes. My son is not stocky and the waist fits well in a size ten and the crotch goes around his knees. My friend has children who roll sideways and disappear. They even had waist and crotch problems when they were brought to them. I don't want a bunch of people trying them on as I'm sending them back. The crotch was so long that I could roll my waist up five times. If I don't get serious about sewing, they won't fit in a million years. And the shirts just fit. Whatever model they used, it wasn't a standard model, but sort of a tiny torso with long, thin, flamingo-like long legs.
