This toaster doesn't have many extra features so if you are looking for a 'gadget' toaster then look elsewhere. What can I say, I am very satisfied with this toaster. It looks great on the counter and the lever feels solid when you squeeze it. I've used this toaster to toast bread, bagels, and toasted pastries and it toasted all of these foods very evenly and consistently. Be sure to place the bagels in the toaster "cut" sides in - I couldn't read the directions on the toaster properly and ended up with the outside of the first bagel getting too dark because it wasn't oriented properly in the toaster . I don't use still mode at all, so I can't comment on that. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the dimmer wheel clicked a little at each full and half mark, which is really handy if you're someone who switches between different darkness settings for different types of bread. The only thing I don't like about this toaster is that the crumb tray is a bit awkward to reach. It slides out from the back instead of the front, so you have to flip the toaster to access it. However, this is a very minor complaint; I would still buy this toaster again.
