Review on 🛌 14x19" Organic Wool Toddler and Kids Pillow – Ideal for Travel by Christie Cox

Very high quality cushion. I really appreciate that it is made of organic materials. I did a lot of research on pillow materials before deciding to buy them. Wool has so many positive properties. It naturally wicks moisture (most of us sweat when we sleep), regulates body temperature and is antimicrobial. Unlike conventional polyester materials, dust mites do not like wool. As an allergy sufferer, this is very important to me. Wool is also fire retardant so flame retardants are not required! The organic cotton pillowcase is beautifully crafted and very soft. I put an extra pillowcase on him to protect him. The loft drops a bit over time as the wool shrinks, but you can easily re-inflate it by beating the sides. I wish the baby version had a zipper like the adult pillow so the wool can be removed and fluffed by hand. I have both child and adult versions of this pillow. The baby is a little flatter, but it's probably better for the baby's neck. I understand people are very picky about the feel of their pillows - I like firm pillows and sleep on my side so these pillows have been great for me. This toddler version is also great for travel. As a final note, as others have pointed out, wool has a distinct odor. It didn't bother me, and it definitely grew on me. When I ordered my second pillow I left it in the sun for a few days (DO NOT leave it in the rain and get the wool wet!). It really helped air out the scent if you're sensitive to smells. But that will definitely go away over time. Overall I am very happy with these pillows and will be buying them in the future!
