Review on Adjustable Compression Protection Breathable Volleyball by Jump Robinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I liked the first color so much that I bought the second one and now I'm waiting for the third color!

This is the pink version over my knee support stockings, also pink, and under my old coriander, the soles of which I just glued back on. I first bought the pink and all black versions from another manufacturer but returned the latter in exchange for the blue version of them (to match my blue support socks and blue Keen). After 8 years with a broken ankle and the complications that came with it, I've found these to be the first ankle braces that really work: they adjust as tight or loose as needed, they provide arch support when I it can't. Use insoles, they go with or match many styles of shoes and they are beautiful. I've tried drugstore cases; L was too large, S was unbearable during the edema, and M little changed from day to day. I've tried elastic bandages, which didn't easily adjust even after the nurse showed me how to put them on, and didn't always fit under other underwear. I've tried soft bandages with elastic and velcro, but they were just ugly. Since I bought them I wear an ankle brace all the time and can take short walks that keep getting longer. The ones I just returned were constructed the same as these, but they were WAY too much fabric and could wrap around the foot so many times that the shoe didn't fit. (Let me insert the support stocking plug while doing this.)

Pros
  • Braces, splints and braces
Cons
  • Expensive
