Great Hub - USB Hubs

This is a great hub for my MacBook Pro. I can't say much about the quality of the material as it's still very new. For all other purposes I've put it through a battery of tests and it's a great hub.

Pros
  • I Hold My Fists
Cons
  • Not the Best

Cheapest plastic case imaginable can't last

Okay, the under $12 price tag should've said it all, but I thought heck, it looks good in the picture; The USB-C hub gives me 4 USB-A ports... I have another UGREEN hub and it's metal and works fine. So I got the thing, and not only is the case not metal, which was obvious for such a cheap purchase. , but the plastic sleeve is so incredibly thin that it seems to me that simply holding on to insert or remove a USB stick will cause the sleeve to break. Calling this thing cheap is an addition; It…

The possibilities are endless.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I was able to connect it to my Samsung phone and use a portable power bank to power it. I then plugged in my 500GB portable hard drive and card reader. This way I could take my phone and transfer all the photos from the memory card to a portable hard drive without using a computer. This comes in very handy when you're shooting on the go and it's almost impossible to carry a laptop around.

Pros
  • understandable also for the old ones
Cons
  • nothing here

Extra USB 3.0 ports

Material - Plastic, cheaply made. The plastic coating of the case makes noise due to the quality/durability of the material. It adds extra USB 3.0 ports as a last resort if/when needed on my laptop, but only on rare occasions. I only connect two devices at a time as it randomly disconnects and disconnects. Then plug it back in - not that I'm blaming the hub, as I think it has something to do with the USB Type-C port on my Acer Aspire E 15 laptop, which has previously had issues with some other…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Underpowered: Computers and Accessories

An optional external micro USB power adapter can be added to this hub if it cannot support multiple devices due to high power consumption. Unfortunately, it can't support a basic 16GB flash drive without adding more power. It's totally useless for my laptop's needs as I've tried to reduce the number of cables everywhere. I could understand that if I couldn't power speakers and other devices, but not being able to support a single USB flash drive is pretty unusual.

Pros
  • This is Amazing
Cons
  • Legacy Model

Complete garbage. Don't waste money

A few minutes after connecting the hard drive, Scarlet Audio Hub and wireless mouse, this product stopped working. At first, my audio flickered in and out of the Scarlet. This means that Logic Pro kept notifying me that the audio device was disabled and then enabled. The mouse then lingered for at least a second or skipped across the screen instead of precise movements. I've been using all of these devices for over a year now and the only difference is that I've tried a hub instead of plugging…

As a single-charge hub ok

First of all, I love Ugreen. Their USB-C cables are excellent and I recommended them here. This is a decent USB hub with a USB-C port for your device. That's not so little; 4 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide. As such, it's little more than a typical tourist hub. Unfortunately, this is a NON-CHARGING hub and is therefore rated 4 stars. Yes, it has a micro USB 5V DC input and powers the hub, reducing battery drain. from devices connected to the hub I assume, but it will NOT charge your device…

Pros
  • Full power for 2.5" and 3.5" SSD hard drives: integrated micro-USB charging connection, maximum power 5V 2.4A for this 4-port hub adapter especially for power-hungry devices such as 2.5" and 3.5" devices. USB HDD/SSD (Note: 1. This micro USB port can't be used to charge your phone or computer. 2. AC adapter and cable are not included.)
Cons
  • I'll write later

While this is exactly what we were looking for (a simple, lightweight, streamlined USB-C hub for the latest MacBook Pro for external devices with USB 2 ports), it doesn't work properly. When you connect the first external device, everything is fine - you can view all the data, there are no errors. However, when you connect a second device, an error message appears stating that device #1 was not ejected properly and data may have been corrupted. However, device #1 has NOT been ejected and is OK…

Pros
  • Small and Slim: Sleek and fashionable look with space gray body to make the USB-C hub splitter perfectly match your MacBook; Easily fits in any bag or briefcase along with a laptop, easy to carry with a lightweight design.
Cons
  • Roughly
