The sound quality is average for BT, it receives the audio signal from the phone and transmits it to the speakers, but there is a catch. If you have more than one Bluetooth device at home, this thing competes for communication. Even if you turn it off first, you won't be able to connect again unless you choose Forget This Device (iPhone). So next time you want to use it, you need to pair the device again. I've read about this with Logitech and Logi Clone devices (I forgot what they're called but identical) so I skipped them only to find the same problem for a lot of money, yay! It also doesn't include a power adapter, so you can't expect to leave it alone for long before it needs to be charged. Another reason I went with these and not other brands was that the marketing images show a mostly plain black box, but I got a version with text in all caps that screams BRING MUSIC TO LIFE. I will return it and look for something else.
