Let's start by saying this thing works great. I use it on an old stereo with RCA jacks but the sound quality is great. I like that it can both receive and transmit Bluetooth. However, I will only use it as a receiver. I can't confirm the battery life as I leave it on all the time. But for what I do, it's really perfect.

The sound quality is average for BT, it receives the audio signal from the phone and transmits it to the speakers, but there is a catch. If you have more than one Bluetooth device at home, this thing competes for communication. Even if you turn it off first, you won't be able to connect again unless you choose Forget This Device (iPhone). So next time you want to use it, you need to pair the device again. BTI-038 annoyingly shuts down when battery is fully charged and also when USB power is removed (off, AC plug wobbles). This stops receiving/transmitting and requires you to manually turn it back on, meaning it's only really good in situations where you can physically reach it all the time to keep an eye on it.
